Hale Sr., the real estate developer and former First Mariner Bancorp CEO, has still got his 3-acre site in Canton up for sale. Hale, the owner of the Baltimore Blast indoor soccer team, told me he’s in no hurry to find a buyer for the waterfront parcel. As Hale sees it, the land, which has approvals in place for a planned unit development with 504 apartments, is growing more valuable as the nearby Shops at Canton Crossing continues to lease up.
