Staff Baltimore Business Journal An Anne Arundel County prosecutor was chosen Thursday as the county's new state's attorney, succeeding Frank R. Weathersbee, who retires Tuesday to accept a gubernatorial appointment to the state Parole Commission, the Baltimore Sun reported. Anne Colt Leitess is the first woman to hold the position as the top prosecutor in the county. The Crownsville resident will complete the 18 months remaining in Weathersbee's four-year term at an annual salary of $160,730.
