Based on new data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, that prowess has catapulted Oregon into the top three nationally for growth of Gross Domestic Product. According to the BEA, Oregon's 2012 GDP growth was 3.95 percent, slower only than North Dakota and Texas. The state's manufacturing sector led the way, expanding by 11.4 percent last year.
